Lost & Found is a platform that helps users report, search for, and return lost or found items and locate missing persons. The App acts only as a communication platform and is not a party to any exchange or recovery.

2. Eligibility

You must comply with all applicable laws when using the App. If you are under the age required by the laws of your country to use this service independently, you should use the App only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App honestly, responsibly, and only for lawful lost-and-found purposes.

You must not:

• Submit false or misleading reports.
• Upload offensive, abusive, defamatory, or illegal content.
• Post stolen, prohibited, or illegal items.
• Impersonate another person.
• Attempt to scam, harass, threaten, or deceive other users.
• Use automated tools or attempt to interfere with the operation or security of the App.
• Upload another person's personal information without permission, except where legally permitted for the purpose of locating a missing person.

4. Missing Persons Reports

If you upload information or photographs relating to a missing child, adult, or elderly person, you confirm that:

• You are the missing person, or
• You are a parent, legal guardian, family member, authorized representative, law enforcement agency, or otherwise legally authorized to publish the information.

You must only upload accurate information that assists in locating the missing person.

The App reserves the right to remove any missing person report that appears inaccurate, unauthorized, misleading, or unlawful.

5. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

• Item descriptions
• Photographs
• Locations
• Contact information
• Ownership claims
• Messages you send through the App

You agree that all information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

6. Ownership Verification

Lost & Found does not verify ownership of reported items.

Users are responsible for confirming ownership before returning or collecting any item. We recommend asking reasonable questions or requesting proof of ownership before completing a return.

7. Safe Returns

For your personal safety:

• Meet in public places whenever possible.
• Avoid sharing unnecessary personal information.
• Never send money to claim a lost item unless you fully trust the other party.
• Exercise caution during all communications and exchanges.
• Contact local authorities if you believe criminal activity is involved.

8. User Content

You retain ownership of the photos, text, and other content you upload.

By submitting content, you grant Lost & Found a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, store, process, and use your content solely for operating, maintaining, promoting, and improving the App.

9. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.

Notify us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

10. Removal of Content

We may remove any report or content that:

• Violates these Terms
• Is illegal
• Is misleading or fraudulent
• Infringes another person's rights
• Creates a safety risk
• Is considered harmful to the community

11. Suspension or Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these Terms without prior notice.

12. Service Availability

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the App at any time for maintenance, security, legal compliance, or operational improvements.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the service.

13. Disclaimer

Lost & Found provides a platform that connects users.

We do not guarantee:

• Recovery of lost items
• Return of found items
• Accuracy of user-submitted information
• Identity or honesty of users
• Successful communication between users

Users interact at their own risk.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Lost & Found and its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any:

• Loss of property
• Theft
• Fraud
• Personal injury
• Financial loss
• Emotional distress
• Data loss
• Disputes between users
• Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

The updated version will be published within the App with a revised "Last Updated" date.

Continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws applicable in the country or region where the App operator is established, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
